Send us a short paragraph and the dates, location, and website. We will present a rolling calendar of events.
Right now, we’d like to tell you about the 24 Hours of Technology Commercialization being developed by Panidea.
Panidea Inc. proudly announces the upcoming program, “24 Hours of Technology”, a global online program with a focus on technology commercialization. The program will be on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 with programs in Asia and will chase the sun across Asia, Australia, The Middle East, Europe, Africa, South America and North America. Speakers across the world will talk about their country, their programs, and their ideas, in a series of thirty minute presentations. By having live presentations in local time zones, we will demonstrate the movement of innovation around the globe.
We are creating a directory of technology commercialization professionals. Members of this group are seeking to be found by people with new ideas, new technologies, or help with pathways to the marketplace. Our markets and growth are based upon financial models – venture capital groups, geographies – incubators and development organizations, roles – innovators seeking to bring technologies to the marketplace, and corporations – seeking new technologies to advance in their product mix.
In order to manage our lists and contacts, we will setup a membership process, with longer term renewals. We will allow members to contact each other, but limit the ability to see email addresses without permission.
Our goal is to have a system where you can easily connect with other members of the group and find opportunities.
It’s a simple idea, really. You need a place to land your idea or technology. Universities teaching innovation need to find an in country contact to work with in commercialization projects. It’s all contacts and networks. What we are trying to do with this organization is to help people connect. In country contacts in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas, all help with development.
The path to growth and success is not a straight line. Development opportunities are found in government programs, licensing, startup assistance organizations, and other players and not always venture funding. In fact, for early stage companies, venture funding is the most expensive option.
We believe there are more opportunities to start your company. With this organization, we will help you find them.
Membership is an annual fee. With your membership, you will have complete access to the database of people, technologies, places, and blogs, and more social media.
If you list your organization, we will make the information available for searching and viewing to the internet, but limit the viewing of non-members.
